History

Lang Park (officially named Brisbane Stadium (Lang Park) and known under naming rights as Suncorp Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Brisbane suburb of Milton. It is primarily used for rugby league, rugby union, and soccer as the home ground of the Brisbane Broncos, and the Dolphins in the National Rugby League (NRL), the Queensland Reds in Super Rugby, and Brisbane Roar FC in the A-League Men. It also frequently hosts the Australia national rugby union team, Australia women's national soccer team and the Australia men's national soccer team. Lang Park was established in 1914, on the site of the former North Brisbane Cemetery; in its early days it was home to a number of different sports, including cycling, athletics and soccer.
