History

The 2025–26 season of the Frauen-Regionalliga will be the 22nd season of Germany's third-tier women's football league. As opposed to the 2024–25 season, 2025–26 sees only the Regionalliga Süd champion being promoted automatically, with the other champions determining the other two promoted teams in respective two-legged play-offs.
