Bath City Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Bath, Somerset, England. The club is affiliated to the Somerset FA and currently competes in the Southern League Premier Division South, the seventh tier of English football. Nicknamed the "Romans", the club was founded in 1889 and have played their home matches at Twerton Park since 1932. The club has never played in the Football League, though Bath were heavily discussed as an entrant in the 1930s and 1940s, and came closest via election in 1978 and 1985.
