History

Don Valley Stadium was a multi-sport stadium in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It was constructed and first opened in 1990, and hosted the 1991 World Student Games. The stadium last closed down in September 2013 and was demolished between November 2013 and May 2014. The stadium and facilities were also used for a variety of other events and sports.
